im making this thread because after watching some news and reading some internet blogs many people claim that sarah palin won the debate against joe biden. i am shocked by how many sources i have heard say this. sarah palin is a fucking farce. mccain will be a 3rd term george bush. we need to end the war in iraq its already cost us way too much and the only argument against ending it is that it is "waving a white flag of surrender" which was palins only argument against ending the war.

palin could describe no actual plans or support any of her mainly false statements/attacks against biden, although she claimed multiple times that she will improve our economy by "fighting corruption in big government and corruption on wallstreet". ok thats nice but can you elaborate on WTF you are talking about? its not enough to just say "im gonna fight corruption! im gonna fight for the people!" and idiots eat that shit up.

the fact is this big government inneficient beurocratic waste has been created by the republicans and SUPPORTED by everything that mccain and palin has voted for and they cant even deny this. mccain repeatedly votes for billion dollar tax cuts and loopholes for oil companies. they cannot deny this. mccain repeatedly voted for the de-regulation of wallstreet that allowed the corrpuption and top 1pct of the filthy rich to prosper while everyone else struggled. he can not deny this and he plans to continue these types of de-regulation of big business which has proved to fail. and yet they claim to want to fight corruption? please...

drill for oil domestically in our oceans and our alaskan wildlife refuge is palins big plan to solve the energy crisis. what she fails to say is that WE COULD NEVER PRODUCE MORE THAN 1 PERCENT OF THE OIL THAT WE USE DOMESTICALLY. THIS WILL NOT HELP THE AMERICAN PEOPLE BUT WILL CAUSE IRREPERABLE DAMAGE TO OUR ENVIRONMENT. we NEED alternative energy NOW, scientists have known we are in the middle of an environmental crisis for years and republicans have fought moving away from fossil fuels. mccain has repeatedly voted against funding for research of alternative energy and is bascically in bed with big oil companies.

she is videotaped giving a speech in an alaskan church where she calls the war in iraq "god's plan". hmm war in the name of god? what the fuck happened to the separation church and state? and even sadder how many votes will she get just because people can relate to her as a person of faith. but this also includes the hypocrisy that Christianity preaches peace but Christians are the most violent people... these people dont understand that Jesus was a pacifist...

oh yea and when the topic shifted to gays, wow did that get awkward for her, she gave a confused round about response saying that she will do nothing to support equal rights for gays. and the fact that her beliefs will not affect her policy? ahaha what a fucking joke, she actually forced the resignation of a librarian in alaska for refusing to censor certain library books. what a fucking hypocrite... but of course her main course of attack against biden is that he says one thing and "flip-flops" (typical republican mudslinging)
even though she is the biggest fucking flip flopper there is. (lets not forget that bridge to nowhere).

am i right? just a bunch of my reactions to the debate which i think are pretty logical for anyone who is not a twit.

TK you're not the only one who saw right through Sarah Palins debate tactics. But what can we expect from a woman who was selected a mere 4 1/2 months before the goddamn primary elections? Not only that but she was virtually unheard of when she was selected. So I'm not concerned with her debate performance. Nor do I care about her God-fearing, gun-loving stances. What I do care about is the fact that John McCain is 72 years old and if he should fall ill or pass away then Palin would be in control of our military. And if one thing came across most clearly in that debate it was her lack of knowledge of foreign affairs and military tactics. McCains military knowledge more than makes up for hers but Palins finger on the button is a scary thought.

do yourself a favor & watch Olbermann & Rachel Maddow every evening.. it'll atleast partially reinvigorate your sense of humor about the cunt & hopefully moreso your trust that there are still some reasonable critically-minded people out there.

it is ridiculous and tragic that people can support such a figure on the presidential ticket.. if in 8 years of Bush the world has not entirely given up on the U.S., this only serves to confirm what a daft nation of blissfully ignorant simpletons we really are.
