In spirit I'm a socialist, I suppose, although I have issues with that too. I am also, however, a realist. I recognize that socialism (and communism, to a greater degree) have never worked as well as they should because of the human condition. I think if humanity ever gets over its obsession with the "me first" mentality, communism would be the utopian style of government of present political theories. We do not live in that utopia, so I also recognize this is illogical at the present time.
And while communism has a "leader" the actual utopian concept is that the leaders are "the workers."
Are you familiar with marxism? Do you know the communist theory? If so, I'd be happy to discuss this with you (probably in a new thread as this is OT). If you're just throwing out terms you don't understand, I have no interest.
I get so depressed when I see Americans calling Obama a fascist AND a communist.
