Iran's crime.
Iran’s crime is its independence. Having thrown out America’s favourite tyrant, Shah Reza Pahlavi, Iran remains the only resource-rich Muslim state beyond US control. As only Israel has a “right to exist” in the Middle East, the US goal is to cripple the Islamic Republic. This will allow Israel to divide and dominate the Middle East on Washington’s behalf, undeterred by a confident neighbour. If any country in the world has been handed urgent cause to develop a nuclear “deterrence”, it is Iran.

It's been said time and time again by tons of different members but I'll say it again:
what the hell are you blathering about?
Seriously, what is the point of posting somebody else's words that you obviously just copied and pasted?

Now go back to your cubicles, the boss is coming.

Something similar is happening over Iran: the same syncopation of government and media “revelations”, the same manufacture of a sense of crisis. “Showdown looms with Iran over secret nuclear plant”, declared the Guardian on 26 September. “Showdown” is the theme. High noon. The clock ticking. Good versus evil. Add a smooth new US president who has “put paid to the Bush years”. An immediate echo is the notorious Guardian front page of 22 May 2007: “Iran’s secret plan for summer offensive to force US out of Iraq”. Based on unsubstantiated claims by the Pentagon, the writer Simon Tisdall presented as fact an Iranian “plan” to wage war on, and defeat, US forces in Iraq by September of that year – a demonstrable falsehood for which there has been no retraction.

I find it interesting that certain guys come out under their rock everytime someones goes against the Party Line. Your outrage over a copy and paste should have been directed against those who are ready to start a war in Iran. You motherfuckers will be crying the most when gasoline hits $ 8/gallon due to the closing of the Gulf of Hormuz.
I don't expect you to concern yourself over the clusterbombing of innocent civilians, but your supporting the same old Cheney type lies is disturbing.
(I don't expect alterEGO to understand a word of this post...wait and see.)

funny, on the very same day iran agreed to allow inspections of their newly revealed secret enrichment facility: BBC NEWS | Middle East | US welcomes Iran inspection offer
and why are you quoting something from 2 years ago that never happened? doesn't really help your case much, i'm quite confused.
edit- ah i see you were pointing out the pentagon's scare tactics. still don't see the point in bringing it up. if it couldn't work then, what helps their case now?

who's ready to start war in iran? haven't we been "ready" ever since bush singled iran out among his "axis of evil?" that was seven years ago, well before the failure (in regard to both its public and secret purposes) that was/is the iraq invasion. somehow i don't think anyone is ready for war with iran, and while that might be the way the fear/propaganda machine is leading there's not now and never was (even in years past when our president was using inflammatory rhetoric nearly every chance he got) enough behind it to consummate the hope for war.

if that happens it might be exactly what we need. the last time gas shot up everyone i know was driving a hell of a lot less because of it. if it went even higher people might be inclined to buy goods locally instead of depending on cross-country freightliners. might even bolster local economies which have been slumping.
omg how crazy!!1! i wish i could buy the fear, i really do. it sounds so much easier to just cry about stuff.

If the only ammunition you have towards me is an honest and appropriate response to a thread question, that doesn't exactly substantiate to an insult. Plus, it's not a insult in the first place, I did cry that day, a shitload, because it was horribly tragic and sad to watch so many innocent people die before my eyes, you retard. What's your point?
This thread sucks more ass than flappy on a friday night.

Maybe the war drums have been beating for 7 years and still no attack but that doesn't mean that it can't happen. The war party is relentless. Until Obama stops allowing the israeli lobby and the pentegon to run our foreign policy, the threat of war will be there. Hopefully Obama is starting to see the light which seems possible because he seems to be re-thinking afghanistan and he has kept a relative cool head to this latest "crisis", despite people like mccorpse and hillary the bitch clamoring for more war.

"I don't really remember where I was. I remember incidents throughout the day, but not really "where I was." I remember crying a lot that day. "
Verk says: $8 gasoline is what we need, who is ready to start a war in Iran (thats how in touch he is), buy locally (in the winter? childish),.And yes, the fear theme over and over.
alterEgo demands responses to "suck ass" insults ("suck ass" ? you may try some hetero insults, before your words betray you). He gets pinned into a corner and says he doesn't understand anything, etc.,etc.
Fric and Frac always come out together when concerns about this country are mentioned. Seems like their job is to keep all the stoners tranquil. Good job, boys.
.I don't really remember where I was. I remember incidents throughout the day, but not really "where I was." I remember crying a lot that day.

flappy i can't help but notice you've provided nothing but a bunch of baseless conjecture. your meandering posts are rife with confusing language that leads nowhere. how old you are, i don't know. . . but senility must not be far off
thanks for keeping it real, stoneric. the war party is certainly relentless, but they can't achieve anything without some kind of support. i've mentioned elsewhere how it's evident that creating a sense of fear is their only dependable source of support, and, while some sort of false flag operation or manufactured crisis would indeed severely enhance the possibility, this is the time of the past seven years when peoples' anticipation of such is at its lowest, and therefor i must conclude the iron has cooled overmuch in that regard.

I will call it VEGO . . because neither of it ever seems to understand what I write. That's one way to win.
Senile is better than "suck ass", Vego.
Limbo and O'Reilly always stoop to insults over issues.

Well, my pessimism always left me feeling a bit stupid for worrying over shit that 99% of it didn't happen. Optimism allows me to celebrate what didn't happen, rather than just find the next thing in line to worry about...something that, once again, probably won't happen either.
If something does happen, at least I didn't fear or worry in the meantime, as that wouldn't have changed it in the first place. In fact, it's an utter complete waste of time that doesn't do anything to help move the world forward.
It's a win-win, so I doubt I'd ever want to revert back.

To me sounds like a mind slave: If I try to scold the master he hits me harder, so I won't scold him and he won't hit me much harder, its a win-win!

You post something like Iran's Nuclear Threat Is a Lie, and instead of exploring that issue, these robots scream " plagiarism!" and "you cut and pasted!" . If I pasted "Letterman slept with staff members", they wouldn't say a word and would probably explore that issue for days.
