this is a great example of bipartisan, popular, and just reform, that could get passed easily if not for the ideologues running congress

I'm sure the "ideologues" in congress are for this completely. I'm interested in who will oppose it. You talk as though the loopy liberals don't want any type of reform other than a public option when in fact it's your own GOd damn Party that doesn't have a problem with the status quo.

they just try to take their mandate to rule as "moderates" way too far and assume that everyone has adopted marxist ideology in the last 12 months.

the american electorate is surprisingly consistant, they like when a person sounds fresh or new, but when it comes to radically new policies, most americans are conservative to a certin extent, seeing as things have gone so well for us over the last century and the world by extension, its not that hard to see why we wouldnt want to give up the things that made us able to do that.

personally i dont know why the health insurance cos ever got an antitrust exemption , i mean on its face that sounds pretty fucked up, i would be all for getting rid of it.

You really don't understand what it takes to get legislation passed in this country do you...

This is the weed you could have bought if you weren't spending your disposable income on insurance company executive compensation packages and and artificially inflated administrative costs.

yea thats a pretty good example of why people really could afford health insurance if they wanted to...

so as much as id like another bag of weed, its sorta MY responsibility to pay for my health care rather than have rich people do it so i can buy weed.
u know?

thats funny and true about the way poliics works tho, and targeted to my demographic!

So you're all for the insurance companies to collude and fix pricing, restricting free enterprise and collecting enough in premiums to fund stadiums and skyscrapers off the backs of the middle class all while getting a helping hand in it from the federal government?

no no no, i agree that they shouldnt have the monopoly, i just dont buy that they really screw people soo much, i think if we changed the law to make it so they couldnt screw people quite as much that everything else would fall into place.

i have no problem with the insurance company that has the happiest customers making the most money, but at the same time they shouldnt have anti trust exemptions.
