i just read in tha province newspaper about high times voting vancity #1 for weed smokers also mentioning tha many pot cafes and how u can walk down the street smoking and not get bothered

has ne 1 else heard about this

"High Times" magazine voted Vancouver #1 pot destination or something.
And all their claims about it are true. You can smoke BC weed for CHEAP walking down the streets of this green city. Do it daily. Love it. It really is the "New Amsterdam." Without a doubt more people here smoke than not. It's part of the culture.
All I can say is: Fucking sweet!

god i love living in this city.
i mean, c'mon, we have political leaders passing out fat as joints for votes.. tehn again, he was hte leader of teh marijuhana party... come to think of it i manage to smoke up with him at every rally and whatnot i go to.

but yea, you can smoke joins and walk down teh streets, there is a green district, pot is cheap and most of it's good.

I just might move there after my masters degree is over... I was so disgusted with my friend's court experience the other day (check out my thread in the activism and politics board) that I've decided I'm sick of this hypocritical country... every 4th of July celebration they parrot about how this is the freest nation on earth; that's just not true anymore.

Hey Tybolt I'm chillin' in Kits which is pretty sweet since it's basically my favourite part of town. It also seems to be one of the more liberal areas.
I haven't been to a rally yet but hopefully I will make it to the next one if work allows.
