Yeah Welland sucks big time. Thank gawd I am only here for school.
On the brightside, when I was living in London, ON last year all I did was party. Which was awesome, but in the end a waste of 5 grand.
This year I am getting killer grades and all I do is smoke herb w/ my lady and goto school!
Welland has the killer

place is alright in the summer if you're with some people, but you could just go to a park or walk and toke instead of spending some minimum charge just to smoke somewhere.
me and my buddies used to go there after exams to do yay in the bathrooms. haha
but ya, if you go to kensington, be sure to check out King's Noodle and/or the Dumpling House. bomb, cheap eats.

As far as I know, its called the Roach o Rama/Hot Box Cafe, and hell, I always need a litle somethin everytime I visit a smoke shop. Thanks for the eat tips. Funny, though, I turned the corner after I left the Box and came upon this sign plastered on the wall. What a chuckle after a White Russian super bomb.
Cheers

Whiteby hahah yeah, still get that these days...although things are beginning to 'diversify' I guess you could say.
" The original name of "Whitby" is Danish, dating from about 867 CE when the Danes invaded Britain. It is a contraction of "Whitteby," meaning "White Village."

Anyone from Canada?
Yes. I live in the province of Ontario.
Do I smoke Mother Nature? Yes. I have smoked it all night. Water bong after water bong! The best toke was when the water bong was frozen and it was cool and smooth.
You can not get enough.
My girlfriend does not agree. Yet, she will drink over a bottle of red wine and try to convince you, to think differently.
I may separate from her because, although I Love her, she still does not understand the concept of Mother Nature and her powers.
A big thumbs up to Mother Nature

I personally adore Toronto. Probably my favorite Canadian city, so much life and realism. So many stories on every square block. I suppose its my local version of NewYork.. If only it had the same history.
Kensington market is definitely a spot YaHooka would love and one of my personal faves.

realism??? hahah
the other thing i can't stand about my city is the fact it's trying to be a bunch of other cities, like ny, instead of just being itself. like when i step out of my school or even look out the window I can see our bs take on times square [yonge/dundas].

And you can look at it like...any major city is trying to imitate something else. Whether its in line with a corporate agenda or based from our basic human inadequacies. Architects lack of creativity and invention for functionality (like the grid plan) is a great example of that.
History tends to like repeating itself.
The minuscule attempt at creating something grand like Times Square is priceless. Very self reflective of current society as well. Which is why its so entertaining to see what ads people are being bombarded with at any given time. If only people would view them as lessons rather than representations of products to obtain.
