Smile Spain smoking Sanctuary

Hello all at YaHooka,

Firstly big thanks for the approval, its a pleasure to be here!

As this thread relates to international smoking matters I feel this is the place for me to have my say.

Whenevr I've been on holiday, other than to the Dam, I've always had the dilema of smuggling a stash with me, going out and trying to find some weed out there or just going without for a couple of weeks :-(

I live, grow and smoke in Catalunya, Spain and have decided to develop a holiday concept for cannabis smokers, both medicinal and recreational.

I won't post a link as my intention is not to draw people away from this fantastic site, but if you think this concept could interest you, please visit Catalanzion's website
Best regards

Martin

no offense but the site looks amateurish (if not dodgy..)

If you really run this small hotel (which btw looks nice with great surroundings), you gotta built a proper internet page.

Pics of the rooms, prices, availability, etc.

Hi Peaceseeker

Non taken ;-)

The property we had planned to use in this, our first year, is sadly no longer available to us. Due to the fact that the rental market is stagnant at the moment , we have a large selection of properties to choose from as a replacement.

We are advertising the concept at the moment and will not be taking bookings before we can provide specific details of the actual property and accomodation available.

We are a family business not a commercial outfit, I've just made some changes to the website, I think it's a bit better,, I'm a grower not a web-designer ;-)

Thanks for the input, hope to stay in touch

Regards
Martin

Martin : Your concept is a great idea and tbh i ve thought about doing the same thing where i live.

But, u gotta keep in mind that if a couple or a family is going to fly abroad and eventually spend 2-3,000Euros on a summer vacation, they want to see more than a coupla pics and a promise for an ALL inclusive smoking package

they want pics of rooms, prices, availability, guest reviews on trip advisor, etc.

Otherwise no one is even going to consider lookin at your site for more than 5 mins.

Ask yourself, what would a potential guest of my business would like to see on my site? and built it accordingly.

Would you send a 500$ deposit to book an accomodation, just by seeing a internet site with a coupla pics?

it would also be saving you a shitload of time
guests will get the info direct from the web
if you're walking every potential client through ^those sort of details that will take a long time.

With all due respect guys

I have developed this concept over the last few months, and developed a lot of interest and a lot of publicity.

I have given people an indication of projected prices, but never asked for a deposit, a reservation fee. Nothing, not a penny from anyone.

We have not enabled our paypal account on the site because I would not expect anyone to part with a penny without having specific information, detailed photos of the property, the rooms, the pool and the surroundings.

As soon as the property contracts are signed, all of these details will be published to the site, along with price and availability information.

Prior to recieving our first paying guests we are holding an "open week" for few people that have supported us along the way, and we're hoping the photos and reviews of this will convince people of our authenticity and honesty.

At the end of the day I'm just a normal family man,a smoker and grower, living in a place that i think some people might be interested in coming and visiting.

You guys are entirely right, I wouldn't pay for something having recieved this amount of information about it.

I hope you will all be pleasantly suprised when we add these final details.

Peace and regards

Martin

How about what exactly are the official laws in Spain?
Give us an idea for a weekly or monthly stay. $ 100/ week?...$1000/week? Prices in Europe are inconcievable to reality , for those of us in the USA.
