Hey guys, haven't been here in awhile. Been very busy with work which kinda of sucks but o well lol. Just a quick question I don't know if I am slightly crazy but does vancouver have a "Coffee shop". I though they did, but I am panning on going down there, and thought that would be a nice treat to myself since i haven't even had the time for a good toke, but like I said work has been a tough one. Thanks for your time guys.

A Block East of Hastings and Homer on the North side of Hastings. There is also the Vancouver Seedbank on Hastings about 10-15 blocks East of the Cafe on the South Side.

So BC just banned ALL inside smoking last spring, and I have a friend who goes to The Amsterdam on a regular basis said that there is some special smoking on a different floor now. I haven't been myself and am in Northern BC now so couldn't verify easily. But my friend made it sound like regular level cafe smoking is not happening. But to me its like this. It's fucking Vancouver man, there are so many other places to smoke. Go for a walk through Stanley Park over on the Burrad St. bridge water front and watch beautiful sunset on 'SunSet Beach' no less.

When are you coming?

I'd say its closer to Cambie, which makes it on the West side of Cambie, East of Homer, and on the Northside of Hastings. It's right across from 'Victory' Park when people hang and shoot up, smoke and general hacky. skateboard ect. Its beside the BC Marijuana Party Head Quaters.

I went to the new amsterdam with my dad last week and we sat there and smoked inside for 2 hours. it's all good, they're just breaking the bylaw. not sure if they still have the 420 room downstairs, but for $5 you can go to the vapour lounge next door (third floor) and hang out there and use their vaporizers n shit. it's ok, but the new amsterdam is still basically free to hang out, you just have to buy a coffee or a bottle of water or something. aside from their nachos, i've never eaten there but i noticed they have reasonably priced burgers n stuff. it can also get pretty busy in there so you might have to share a table.

Maybe they reverted after almost of year of observence. Vancouver always has bigger fish to fry that some herb lovers.

theres some secret herb places you can buy herb.. on cannbis culture fourms there is info.. also you can use a mailorder marijuana site. i dont know of any anymore but i know there is some, i herd people talkin about it on CC fourms. and ya the vapour lounge you pay 5$ and you can smoke or use the volcano.. and upstairs they got phoosball and pool tables and a internet cafe, downstairs they got a big screen TV. also the VSB lounge, there couches and nintendo you can play and stuff.. and if you medical you can get weed from the dispensarys

But it's funny to sit in there and never hear a word of that transaction. Just sit there and watch people be like , but but but..... Ah might ask if they want to burn one if they look like the honest type. If all else fails, that is how to find out. People share there usually.
