Question Flowering & Watering

Ok. I got a 460w hps light, and 2, 4 month old babies that are flowering. Because they dont get much venilation, I give them 9 hours of light each day, and 60oz of water ever other day.

Question: Am I doing anything wrong?

Cool

that sounds like a lot of water ,hell that sound like to much water ,thats 30 oz for two days with poor vent ,= 15oz a day,8 oz sounds better but how buchy are they and is the soil wet or just damp,is there holes in the bottom of the planters?and whats the temp in there ,if its hot they need water!sorry i dont like to over water or under water!if ether under water is better!if you under water they may wilt, but if you give theam water they should come back fast ,on the other hand if you give theam to much, they rot and mold!and its hard to get the water out with out shocking the plant!good luck tazz11

Man you gotta back off on the water. Don't water until the soil is nearly dry. Stick a finger in the soil to test, if dry, water. Better yet, get a hydro meter to test for dryness/wetness. They cost around $15. A very valuable tool when you go soil. Also put a fan in there for circulation and TRY, TRY to get some ventilation going. Read up on this forum...there's tons of useful info.

No not 30 oz each, they are getting 60 oz of water each every other day, the plants look quite healthy, green with lots of hairs, no welting, no mold. The water dries out quick. I test it by sticking my finger down into the dirt, and usually 3 inches down is dry.

Its pretty warm in there, its my bed room closet, in the closet I made half the closet into a little room with this non reflective material, cut a few holes into it, I have a box fan hanging up at the top, pointed down to throw air on the top of the hps, and there is a small fan pointed upwards that sits between the two planters, I have the light on at night while I am sleeping so I have to close the door, which is where the heat is comming from, I dont know what you mean by bushy, I didnt do that coke top thing, but there are lots of stems groing from here and from there, lots of delicious buds growing from them. maybe another 8 to 10 weeks till harvest.
