Noob question on seeds..

Let me get this straight, white seeds are the seeds you want to plant, right? because they are female? and brown seeds are the ones you don't want to plant, because they won't bud (they are male). Or am I wrong?

You can't tell by the look of the seed whether it is male or female.
tiny dried looking white seeds are usually garbage.
Nice browns and dark greens and some sand colours and some marbeling and veining and and and...
Well those are usually good.
Some people say that if they float they are no good, and if they sink they are good.
But I have had seeds do the opposite... a lot.

Plant em, if they come up they are good.
Germ em in a J-cloth and baggie on the fridge is what I would do.

Have ya ever put your hand on top of the fridge? It gets WARM!
And I have a cabinet about 4" above so it traps the heat just perfectly.
3 days and I have roots... mostly heh heh heh

I had a few small light colour ( light white) seeds and all germinate!!
