I also have a question, I will put it here because its relatd to the topic. There are many pine trees and all sorts of evergreens (mostly cedars) in the area I am going to grow (outdoors) and I'm wondeirng if I dig up and replace most of the soil if the plants could be effected neativly. The spots are in dense vegatation maybe 20-60 feet away from the evergreens.

hey... i live in a similar area to you. what most outdoor growers that i know do, is plant near something that does not need acidic soil to live, therefore, it would mean that the soil in the area is not so acidic, so its a good spot..... apple trees, i have heard, are great, birdock bushes area also believe it or not a great one too. so if you can, i would find a spot near some other different plants. but if not. im really not sure if the plants would be affected. i imagine if you kept the area weeded and what not, you would probaly be fine.

Im no expert at outdoor, but have made the mistake in the past of planting 10-15 feet away from some conifers. The plant done okayish in veg but totally freaked out during flower.......you will probby find the surrounding soil is far too acidic and will major fuck with your Ph balance.......
IMO find another spot.
