i've never had any withdrawl symptoms, and i pretty much always quit between harvests, to lower my tolerance and clear my mind a bit. but when i do smoke, i generally toke daily, but usually @ night, and generally not all the time and while i'm being social.
it's mainly a mental thing for me. canuck hit the nail on the head. i'll be doing something, and think to myself "damn, i wish i had some bud". or i'll be looking at my plants and think "damn, i wish those were ready". even weeks after i stop, i still get the occasional itch, but it's nothing.

it's funny how people can convince themselves of having insomnia from not smoking. i was smoking all night last night and I was up till 6am.

quitting cigs causes that for me, which is explainable. more oxygen getting to your brain = more brain activity = hard to rest.
marijuana never caused that for me.

yeah in retrospect i usually go to bed around that time anyway, it was just a little more difficult since i wasnt all lethargic from a smoked bowl. but you have to admit spanky, cutting smoking can cause insomnia ..... think of it like this. when you were a kid and there was something really exciting happening the next day, did you get much sleep the night before? that would definitely happen to me, i just wouldnt be able to take my mind off the next day and i would keep myself up all night. its kinda the same thing with weed. on the initial days of quitting, youd better believe that weed is on the persons mind 75 percent of the time.
oh yeah ©antSEEme that doesnt make any sense because the brain is at its most active when you're sleeping, so more brain activity due to more oxygen doesnt really change much in terms of sleeping problems.

^ your brain is as active when you sleep as when you're awake. cig smoke robs the brain of oxygen. the extra oxygen after quitting causes more energy. more energy = restlessness. restlessness = no sleep.
of course, the addiction to nicotine plays alot into the insomnia aswell.

Today was my second day of not smoking and it does feel great. I did it because i've been forgetting shit at work lately and I work in a resteraunt so I cant be doin that shit. Right around 2:30 though I got the burning desire of. "man, i just wanna go home lay on the couch and smoke a bowl." It didnt happen but I think monday will be the next time I smoke. I just realized the last post was the 1st but how did you do?
