Seriously, you would think those years in between would be some kind of shit you would write down, right?
Couple of bar fights, the room after prom, the time him and his friend in jr high jerked each other off. Insight as to what kind of man he was, the things he did that shaped his life, why he was like he was.
I mean if all that shit didn't matter and it was just gods plan to have him flogged like a rug in the desert no matter what, the only thing that could have happened because thats what is supposed to happen, why do we mortals bother living the good life and doing unto others since all this shit is in the books already and we just haven't gotten to the page yet. Deeper, how can we look to the narrative as a moral code, the script is written man, you can't change that. Either way, your fate is sealed. Who cares WWJD since it looks like it didn't really matter in his case.

I've heard of these.
If I remember correctly I heard that he travelled to areas like India/Eastern Asia and embraced religions like buddhism and hinduism (dharma). Apparently there is loose documentation that exists still but i'm not sure if he was ever referred to as 'Jesus'.

I can't say I like to read these because I'm convinced I'll find more literal Truth, however I do like to read them because they help to me allow my mind to wonder into others views, which ulitmatly do help me understand and find Personal Truth.
Two Easters ago I was finishing 'The Last Temptation of Christ'. While written loosely around Gospel themes and characters, this is a really interesting approach to consider. Perhaps not a new one, but just to read such an idea into words, I personally found it very easy to read and really showed it in a light I felt I could approach with an imagination. Also I finished it the day or two before Easter, which I found slightly ironic, seeming it was a plan.
