I first heard this on coast to coast and it made A LOT of sense to me.

I know I've talked about a spell book that I got in 3rd grade and did something and it worked, well I think this may have been what I did.

I'm not so sure that link I put at the top is very quality and describes what I'm talking about so I will try to explain upon it a little more.

One of the examples they used on Coast to Coast, it was like this couple standing in line at the grocery store when the girl sent an intention for hey husband to go get her flowers/chocolates. So apparently it worked and he did like seconds after she thought about it.

So if you direct a wish at a specific person, apparently it works and it's called,"sending an intention," or some bullshit like that.

There's many many theories on how it works of course but I really do think it works. I've been trying it lately and things have really been going in my direction lately. All you have to do is believe that the intention will work 100%, no hesitating or doubt.

My theory is that our brains vibrate at very specific frequencies for some reason or another and if we can learn to harness the energy(vibe) around us we can control more than we think we can. Or... it could be something much more simple, I have no idea but I swear it works, try it.

I believe in it because it works. But the intention has to be pure, and you must remember two intentions can collide. Also the language in which to send them isn't in English.

It isn't like "I intend to find a million dollars today".

It's deep in symbols and you have to be within the stream of energy it applies too, OR have enough energy being sent out. I believe it has a lot to do with Chi, but there's a lot to it. As you send out symbols, symbols will be sent back. You will learn how to interperate your life as a dream... Think about the strange coincidences you notice each day, or why randomly you will fall down a set of stairs, or notice the most beatiful flower, but no one else your with would have even seen it without you pointing it out.

I believe ghosts/hauntings are a side-effect of this...Think about it...

Controlling intentions is a huge step into changing the realm in which you exist in. Which is something I've been playing with for a year or so now. It's dangerous water for the stable mind. With every gift there is a deficit.

I've also noticed, people get what they really ask for in life. look at someone who is miserable, and study them. Chances are they send out intentions of being miserable daily.

"Be careful what you wish for".

I could go on for pages and pages, but I'd hate to bore you people with my schizophrenic beliefs.

P.S. For all you people who ask for vibes(in the vibes thread) I really do my best to send them your way.

Edit again - A week ago or so I was thinking to myself how I wanted a headband to keep my hair out of my face. Then I went for a nice hike last Saturday, randomly took a pit-stop through a clearing to sit-down and drink some water. And I found this little bright blue head-band(it's actually my favorite color blue), just sitting there on the ground. Literally right where I was going to stop. I wear it as a necklace now, I believe it brings me good luck and serves me a good reminder that I can have anything I want.

Our higher selves pick up on the energy we send out, intention is born and manifested. If you spend your time stressing, before long, you will have another reason to stress. Acceptance of now, and not creating your intentions from a place of wanting. To create from a place of wanting, creates just that…wanting.

It's not always that you ask for some thing, it's that you ask, and if you deserve, and stay in the mind-set to look for it, you will be rewarded.

edit- it's been called the law of attraction. like attracts like; you channel what you tune in to. synchronicity plays a major role, for what seems like telepathy is truly simultaneous thinking among distinct individuals. you're not sending or receiving anything, you're synchronously manifesting a shared desire in harmony with another person. it's really quite a beautiful thing. . .

hmm, that's a good question. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to go with Jenna on this one. In this case, I'm only stating an opinion, I'm not stressing about it because I know no matter who I vote for my standard of living won't change unless something catastrophic happens on a global scale. The US government has so much knowledge the public will never be able to handle. Not saying they know about aliens or anything, but the CIA does kill illegally from both a war and an ethical stand point. From Charlie Allen to Mt. Cheyenne.

The key really to intention sending imo is to throw away with ideas of politics and hierarchies to which you fall under. You have to be free as the energy your made of.

I started with simple things...Rock star parking, calling the elevator, awesome tunes on the radio when i was taking a trip.

Practice self awareness so you aren't sending little barbs of fear with your intentions.

Abundance is a good one to manifest and a good example cuz everyone loves to have an ample supply of say..money. But don't manifest from a place of want..let go of the fear of not having enough money.. focus on what you do have...a warm place to sleep, food, water, air to breathe, love. See your blessings.

Once you call for it, stop thinking about it...know that it will manifest. If you continue to think about it, you are calling the energies back to you, mirroring the opposite.

It's real important not to focus energy at someone else's expense...that will back fire.. So, if someone cuts you off in traffic, don't wish them a HUGE pimple on their nose unless you want to stop and buy yourself some clearasil on the way home.

So what happens when millions of minds focus on the same intent, at the same time? Does it have a better chance of happening?

And why would it work for positive things only? If I try with all my might, with all good intentions, to make the planet explode.. could it happen?

The purer the intent, the more power it brings to your manifestations. If you send out those barbs, manifestation doesn't happen like you want.

Explode the planet? How can you send that with good intentions?

I suppose one could do it with the intent of freeing everyone and everything from the suffering that life causes...? If what they believe is truly positive, to them, what keeps it from happening?

I always assumed pos/neg was in the eye of the beholder. Is there some karmic force that says different?

I'm not saying this isn't possible.. It's pretty interesting. I just wonder what (or who) decides what's positive or negative and what's pure or not.

it doesn't matter what's positive or negative. nothing is inherently positive or negative, these are only the identifications of a subjective consciousness. if you are wrapped up in identifying with things you find negative you will explore that vein to your heart's content, and likewise for those you find positive. you could honestly want to explode the earth with good intention, but you might find that the sway you hold over your own life outweighs your intent to affect change in the lives of an entire planet such that you may find it is your own life -- your own "world" -- that faces destruction

and I just finish his sentence with no hints or anything
