Mind Reading

I'd like to hear your thoughts on this matter, particularly you, Rev, as I find your stoned wisdom most interesting.

Yesterday, I arranged with a couple mates to get some hash. The deal was done, and we ended up in my mate's garden having a spliff.

After a joint I felt stoned, and began to feel a kind of psychic connection to my 2 friends. It's a bit strange, I'm not too sure of how to explain it so I'll give it my best shot.

By observing my friends' facial expressions, the direction of their gaze, their body language, and analysing exactly what they were saying and how they were acting, I found that I could kind of read their minds. I could 'feel' what they were feeling and could tune in to their frequency of thought, if you will. I found that I could sense the varying levels of paranoia, I could tell exactly what they were thinking using not only my knowledge of psychology, animal psychology and experience, but the effects of cannabis /really/ made it strong.

I am convinced that on these certain occasions I can read minds. Or am I just a bit mad? Is there something wrong with me? Or is cannabis fucking with my head again?

I only have one possibly 2 people I am connected with. One of them I have been told is possibly one of my soulmates from a differant life. All I know is as soon as I see him I can read him like a book and with a simple hug we exchange energy which is really cool and amasing. But this happens whether I'm stoned or not so I don't think it has to do with the smoke it just depends if you are spiritually connected or not.

Yeah, herb does enhance it. I feel that some people are more connected than others. Has to do (i think) with vibrational frequencies and that ecstatic energy.

now i know i'm not the only one. i've felt these things too...cannabis helps me to identify with another soul...connect with it...feel what it feels. this is probably the thing i love most about weed...the fact that it helps me express my love for others in a way that i can fully understand.

i have experienced similar feelings. i find one of the most noticable effects of marijuana is that it allows me to understand people. i can sit down, and after observing a person for long enough, i feel i truly comprehend his/her existence. i remember one particular biology class (i'm in high school) that i smoked up beforehand. i was sitting in my chair, just taking in the atmosphere like a zombie. i looked at my teacher, and i instantly understood so much about her past, her personal life, and how she wound up in the same room is myself. my ability to do so varies, but it's usually quite prominent.

not that i believe in any of this "psychic" nonsense, but i'd rather not have this ability.

it's extremely depressing.

Me and my dude can read each others' minds some times. Like in instances where communication is impossible due to imposing ears, we can just like look at each other, or just say one word and know exactly what we're gonna do. We finish each others' sentences all the time too. I think it's just cause we are like minded, and the psychic thing is placebo as a result of that.

I know someone whose mind is POWERFUL this way. When he is stoned around people, he knows them so fast and so completely... he hates it too. He finds it really sad.

I think his is strong enough to activate mine, because when I tripped with him, we were thinking things to each other, and we could anticipate each other's words and feelings. I've also known a couple of people who were on acid together, and they were looking away from each other, and they both got this really strong feeling that they had switched bodies with the other person, and that if they looked back to the other person, they would see themselves. They looked at each other at the same time, and then both started saying shit about how they were still the same.

I believe that human beings can read minds.

Why?

Because we all think, feel emotions and physical sensations, dream, and perceive our environment. These are all psychic abilities, even though we do not see them as such. To us they are normal, but they are indeed psychic.

ESP, telepathy, clairvoyance, and many other natural psychic abilities are on the other hand not accepted in our modern society and are considered abnormal or magical. That is why they do not develop when you are a child.

But there is definitly spiritual proof out there that supports the idea of psychic abilities. For me that is enough proof.

Weed certainly increases the possibility of mind reading, because we become more aware of facial expressions, body movements, voice and maybe even frequencies of thoughts.

i thought me and this dude was the only ones that could do this...we could just get stoned and look at each other and say "dude remember that 1 time" and as soon as I or him got done saying this we knew exactly what we was thinking about...its so cool.....iv known him for like 4 years and i think you really have to know the person before you can read their mind...and also i use to get stoned with my cat and we (my cat and i) would cary on conversations while we were stoned...we really knew what each other was saying...but if we wasnt stoned it wouldnt work...some ppl think im weird cause of this....but its so true

i dont think weed(or other drugs) enhances the power,i think they drive away what blocks it.such as all of the built up emotional stress we accumalate on a daily basis.Ive always been able to sniff an aura or get into someone's thoughts,but mostly when totally relaxed and free of stress from others.I can guess
my best friends thoughts and he can guess mine as well.and we're almost total opposites.

That's why the herb enhances it... I don't think it... I know it (at least for myself). I'm not suggesting using the herb as a substitution for meditation or clearing the mind... but it can definately relax you and put you in a more receptive state of mind.... WITHOUT A DOUBT .... hehe.... really without a doubt

Sometimes I get to thinking about ESP when I think about evoution.

Start with bacteria. What is the next major evolutionary step? It would probably be Amoeba type organisms. Then would be multi-cellular organisms, sexual reproduction, and so on...

I wonder what the next evolutionary step for humans will be (?). (I'm an optimist that we won't kill ourselves first.)

ESP? or some other type of mental ability?

That is simply their way of thinking. But what they do not realize is that they are actually believing the minority. They are believing the very few people who control the masses; such as government and media. Well who do you believe is right now? The majority or the minority?
