90% of what goes on is enigmatic. This includes questioning it.

during deep meditation and praying, you can feel the presence of God and his good spirits (being around you). Sometimes you can even hear them, being in the room. I cant explain it. But its really intense! (scary the first times it happens).
I feel like the "far world" (afterlife) is so close to our world (in another dimension though). All the passed spirits are watching over us and trying to guide us towards a more meaningfull life (a life of love and caring).
God always listens to us when our prayers come from the heart I think he answers back by giving us signs.
Signs towards the road of truth.

There was a DJ on the radio that was talking about a field trip that they took in high school to a mental health hospital (which I thought was slightly odd ) . It was memorable for him because this guy (patient) came up to him and whispered, "Do you know why we're in here and you're out there?" He didn't know what to say... the patient said, "Because there are more of you than there are of us." (hehe... just thought of that... hey, just don't go into a psychologist and tell him that you receive signs from God, hear voices, etc... )

Anyways, I think we manifest God daily. The defining human trait that seperates us from Animals is we are creative, a key word (creation). This I beleive is what it means to be made in "God's own image." We are design and thus we design and create. We have the free-will to do so.

Maybe the reason you don't understand what I am speaking of is because you don't believe it's real to begin with. As you can see, I'm not alone in this idea. In fact, people have been speaking of this for 6000 years now. So I can't help you man, you have to grow into this on your own.

It's just a figment of your imagination. When you get wasted on whatever drugs you take, you just imagine something that's not there as real. Much like the times when you wake up half asleep and think your dreams really happened, because you're in a dilapidated state..
There's a reason why you can't explain it. It's not real!
Some Inuit kids think they experience God by sniffing glue and gasoline fumes.
It's probably just the shrooms, man. When you come down off the high, do you still feel like you're "connected to God?"
All these 6000-year-old beliefs you speak of are, notably, through drug-induced rituals. Figure it out!

I've tripped out while not tripping. If thats what you mean. Before I ever tried the drug too. You can do such things without drugs.

So you've "talked to God"?
Please explain!

I'll try, but I hold that you need to experience it to understand.
Its like a moment of absolute truth, when you know something to be true so profoundly its undeniable. Like understanding good philosophy. Good philosophy is reasonable and logical no matter how you look at it, untouchable so long as you follow the reason. But when you have that moment where you truely comprehend it, thats chatting with the big G force.
I could also say that everything is God, so anytime you take something in the world for what it is, rather then perverting it with your ego, you talk to God.
That work for you? Best way I can think to put it right at the moment.

Sometimes I talk to God, but s/he/it never talks back.
Perhaps I only talk to her/im/it when I am not well or after recently being rewarded somehow.
Perhaps not.

N_o_S,
Let's say you really love your mom and you go "You're the best mom in the whole world!"
I could say "Hey, don't be dumb, she's not the best mom in the world, I could probably find a thousand moms around that are better than her." And you couldn't accuse me of being wrong. But you could, rightfully, accuse me of being an asshole.
Here's the deal, without boring details:
-I'm fucked up.
-I go "hey Jesus, help me out."
-I get unfucked.
Now, you can say I (and anyone else) don't actually experience God or talk to Him. You can call it illusions or wishful thinking or insanity. But you can NOT call us irrational or illogical.
I get the feeling you're asking for some kind of proof all the time, but you're not LOOKING for it. It seems to me you're asking for proof for the purpose of proving us wrong somehow. But you can't, and we can't. If I could give you some kind of satisfying answer to the problem of evil and how the world came to be, I don't think it would make a believer of you. Neither are any of us believers because we sat down and figured out how the world and God is.
Of course I can't expect you to believe the same as me if you haven't had my experiences. We all think we've met, or interacted with, God in one way or another, and if you've never met Him yourself you can't be blamed for not believing. And you can't blame us for believing even if you don't understand it. We could, for example, argue about Bob Dylan and his work. We could read all the books and interviews and talk to his friends, but we'd never KNOW him unless we actually met him. See my point?
In any case you shouldn't block out the idea that you too can communicate with God. I can't tell you you'll hear His voice out of a cloud or see His hand reach down from heaven. I my life at least, He usually goes by the heart and not the ear or the eye. And as you probably know, you'll never get to talk to Him unless you choose to look for Him. Please keep that in mind if you ever get into shit so deep you can't get out of it on your own.

I already am a fool. I know nothing.
But he's asking for someone to word out something that has no words associated with it. A bit moot IMO.

I'm not trying to be an ass. I just don't understand what the fuck you're talking about.
How have you "talked to God?" If you can't possibly explain it, then I'm pretty secure in my belief that it's just a figment of your imagination.
If someone enjoys the teachings of the Bible, and likes gathering with people in a church and shit, then good for you if it makes you feel good.
But...what basis do you have to believe any of it is true?
When a Christian says "I believe" Does the Christian think "I believe God and Satan actually exist" or just "I believe this story makes me feel good."
I don't believe in far-fetched crap that bears no proof...so I'm ignorant when it comes to religion. I need someone to explain it to me.
Then you say "Oh, it can't be explained in words."
CanuckWisdom says "Oh, it's like a moment of absolute truth." What is it that's presenting itself as truth? I don't get it.

Christians wouldn't dare use the word "maybe".
When everything just feels right and it comes out of nowhere. Like it actually comes from within but it almost seems like too perfect an instance to be created by a human so people call it God. God is the answer to all unexplained phenomena. Especially the really cool shit that can happen when you're praying, meditating, drugging, or otherwise.
