hehe most of those options are pretty good. I probably just hear about some nations more then others so I cant really say how much spectacular shit happens. Canada, the US and Australia all have alot of land and water and serious athletes. I mean, in the Olympics the US usually gets more medals then we do, but relative to the population pool and the funding available we do fuckin wicked.

The US Olympic team is a poor representation of US basketball versus world basketball.

Put the Phoenix Suns in the Olympics and the US will shit all over Europe. Hell put any western conference playoff team and they will do the same. Well, maybe not the lakers, but the other 7 teams will.

The same goes for that stupid world baseball tournament. US players dont care even a little bit. All the pitchers are on ridiculous pitch counts cus they dont want to injur their arms in meaningless games.

And I dont know how anyone, even Canadians can say that Canada is best. Theyre only really good at hockey, and I think an argument could be made that theyre not the best at hockey.

we have all the standards, plus all the outdoor/extreme sports...

and to add, the superbowl is the most watched event in the world so that must say something...
