Best Hockey to watch if your team is out is the IIHF series being played in Canada. The Russian team is crazy stacked with out of play-off NHL'ers like Ovechkin and they beat Canada in a pre-tournament game. Canada beat Slovenia(Slovakia?) last night 5-1. U.S. won their first game also.

I fell asleep during the 4th OT, at about 3am, and missed the GWG goal. Still, what a great game of hockey. How about those ridiculous saves by Nabokov (below,

) and Turco's crazy kick save in the first OT?

Ya, when I saw that I threw my pencil and was pissed that we lost it, then it ended up being a save and I just looking like an idiot

I meant to post this before, but Morrow's hit on Michalek towards the end of the third was fucking devastating. So clean, poor Michalek had his head down big-time.

Also, here is the afforementioned Turco kick save:

That was a fucking entertaining game.

What a game tonight!! It sucks that it ended on a powerplay, but that was one of the best games I've seen in a long time.
