Just had my windows tinted!!11

I just tinted had my windows tinted...20% in the back windows, driver side/passenger are 30%....a buddy of mine has 20% on all windows and the people who did it also recommended to not get them all 20% because at night its a pain in the butt..my buddy said he has to roll his windows down to back up and what not at night...i think it looks sharp..next is a replacement mirror for the paint that chipped and probably new rims...then a body kit

at the place I had my windows tinted, they asked if i was interested in taking it to any shows...i really don't know too much about this kind of stuff so if you guys wanna drop some basic info...he asked me if i was interested in any rims or body kits and i said eventually i wanted to get at least rims and he said about taking it to shows with them, if i was interested to call them and talk to them about it...

anyway, if anyone knows of any good websites for nice/cheap rims or wants to drop any knowledge about the shows and what not..also, will 20s fit onto the tC?

You will have a very difficult time fitting 20's on a Tc. I personally would go with 19's max with some low profile tires. 18's if your streets are shitty (your able to get bigger tires, which act as cushion for those potholes).

As far as shows go, what did you need to know?

i know nothin about shows, a friend of mine said they're goin to use my car for free advertisement and want to smack a big sticker on my windshield which i dont really want

don't do anything w/o seeing somekind of contract/waiver and actually read all of it or have someone knowledgeable translate... Its your car so beyond stickers for advertisements make sure everything goes to your plan, and ask what kind of liability they are going to offer...

Just get better looking rims in the same size range? IMO 20's and even 19's look bad on sports cars, or atleast cars trying to be sports cars(I have a thing against scions) and they should be left for trucks and whatnot.


The tint looks good though, I wish i could tint my windows darker w/o getting cited for it.

O ya, don't let them take it to shows unless you are going to see some money out of it, they are probably just looking for some free advertising

yeah i would get that sponser no doubt in mind. anything free is good. like skywarp said get something in writing so they dont expect to you to be at every meet or something ridiculous that you cant do. big wheels just look dumb. just keep the factories, paint them gloss black or sandblast them. get a good suspension and big brake package out of the deal. and please dont rice that out. supercharge it, then youll have my praises.

Why blow a ton of money (unless of course you are getting it for free) on looks if you don't have anything to back it up

ya get the sponsor man. some sponsors will give you a bunch of free stuff like rims/tires/bodykits etc.

I knew this guy back in El Paso, his buddy owned a sound/paint/customs shop.

They would do all sorts of crazy shit to his car and he didn't have to pay for shit as long as he went to every local show and i think there was like a small strip of the name of the place on the back of his window. Last time I talked to him they wanted to do a waterfall in the back armrest or some shit.
Look into it.
