Not to highjack but look what I'm getting in a few days....
Not that yours could beat the living shit out of this, it's a lot better "upgrade/downgrade" than my old "bike/motor." ![]() The guy apparently raced it, the top end was just replaced last month though. So I don't mind. ![]() Pics coming soon. ^.^ |

![]() The '84 Mustang GT' of the sport bike world, every super bike out there owes a little something to this bike here, truly the grandfather of the modern era. And I hope to own one some day.

Those are some pretty machines.
Hell yeah it's an RS50. Two stroke, it may sound like a fucking joke. But once it gets off the line, there's no stopping it. That's a custom exhaust, not all of them look exactly like that, but the mufflers are no bigger than that for the 50cc 2-stroke. I just ordered my new MCO and I will hope to register it within the next week. Then I will be riding again. ![]() I just got some new CF mirrors and a GPS mount for my miniature super bike. I am currently JB welding the nuts to the back of the tank cover and I've got all the fairing off of it. I just put a new clutch cable and air filter that doesn't suffocate its self, and I got a new front sprocket. Waiting on the rear in the mail. Once I get my 17/28 sprocketing ration, I should be looking at a top speed of 80 mph, and a 0-60 in a little under 5 seconds. The quarter mile is something like 12 seconds though... I'll get pictures up once I get my oil cooler to shut up, and the fairings put back on. Then I will get ready to take some pictures of her final stages in her transition of a life time.Last edited by SpankyMcLankey; 07-17-2008 at 02:42 AM. |

Sure it's a great bike, it was a great initial design. The engineering that went into that is donkey shit compared to any modern ducati, hyabusa etc... They would have figured it out sooner or later. ![]() ![]() Last edited by SpankyMcLankey; 07-17-2008 at 02:50 AM. |

In the last two weeks TWO of my co-workers have lost sons due to motor cycle accidents. I went to one funeral last Thursday, the date for the next one hasn't been set yet. It is sad when we outlive our children.
What are the chances? Be careful please.
