Hmmmmmmm... then there is the fact that we dont need to eat meat at all, and could refrain from killing animals altogether. Killing the adult is no better than the other.

So much nicer to plant some gardens, make a greenhouse or few, grow some trees or an orchard.

It seems that sometimes we CHOOSE to engage in this whole mess of barbarity because we do not know any better yet, and thats what weve learned from our parentage...but if we develop our humanity and compassion a bit we can stop being so selfish and trying to bend logic to justify violence and murder in so many ways (war, hunting, etc)

...and it seems to me that that compassion and empathy is the antidote for the knarly karma being generated, which will come to visit us and ours in the future if we do such things.

on the other hand, maybe there are really different subspecies of humans with different mental faculties/tendencies etc which allow them to practice vegetarianism and such. the phenomenon of pure vegetarianism tends to be quite concentrated in only a few regions of the world....perhaps most people just dont have it in them??

well, we have to understand that from the perspective of those who dont do such things the whole act and process involved is gross, stinking, and morbid. just being honest, not trying to hate. hunted or bought...about the same. money has nothing/little to do with the issue imo.

i dont hink it is really good for us in any case, medically speaking. thats how some animals behave...with aggression and violence...others not so much so. but the path you initiate and decide to follow leads to particular results and ends, in my experience, so the choice is up to each of us. we can grow learn and evolve in whichever direction and into which state we choose...

i think it much nicer to be friends and respectful to the animals and other beings in general, unless theyre really doing something messed up and uncalled for... then i may have a few words for them
