he really wants out he really wants out then he refuses to waive his no-trade clause and gets a 4mill$ bonus...wtf

anyways I'm sad that Montreal didn't resign Koivu, Kovalev and Lang...I'm gonna miss Koivu and Kovalev. They did however sign Gomez, Gionate and Commeleri but I dunno if that's gonna be all that great their all 5foot something...

but on the fuck people subject, fuck Mike Komisarek, piece of shit motherfucker, signs with the Leafs for like 500k more then what the Habs had offered him. He's a real fucking traitor.

Well, Heatley finally got his wish. Seems like they could have gotten more for him. Michalek is a good return, not sure about Cheechoo, though. Heatley and Thornton are quite the tandem.

He was bitching and whinning so much I don't think anybody would of given up more for him and his gianormous price tag.

I cant wait till friday to see all the new Habs in uniform, they'll be taking on the sens, I wonder if Kovalev will be in the lineup?

Yea Murray did as good a job as anyone could with the Heatley situation. It was important to get that bum out of Ottawa so the team can move on and put that shit behind them.

I'm excited/interested to see how the Sens and Habs fair this season. Both teams have a slew of new players on the roster. Didn't catch a whole lot of the pre-season (and what I did see was essentially a brawl), but Kovie looks good out there and Fisher is flying. I'm looking forward to seeing what Michalek and Cheechoo can do, both players were kind of invisible in the playoffs last season from what I saw.

On a side note, I met a bunch of the Sens the other day at the Casino du Lac Leamy. I played a few hands of blackjack with Nick Foligno, and met Spezza, Kelly, Elliot, Campoli, and some AHL players (Matt Carkner is a beast). Kelly was going to play poker (50/50 chance of him getting assigned to my table) but he had to leave before a seat opened for him. That would have been fun (plus he probably sucks).

Yeah I'm really excited about this season too, Kovalev is a sniper montreal's gonna miss him. I'm kinda bummed out we lost Markov and O'Byrne right off the bat there goes our season.

how are my boys in cow-town doing? i've only seen highlites from the two battle-of-alberta games we won.

i was kind of skeptical about the bouwmeester signing. before he came into the league, i thought he was going to be like a super-sized nick lidstrom or scotty niedermeyer, maybe even like a bobby orr. then he was a bit of a bust in FLA.

he's finally starting to look a bit like a bigger, younger niedermeyer. we just need our best players to produce, and possibly get something good for jokinen. i never really thought joki would fit.
