Anyone else watching this? I've had it on for about 10 minutes and I can already see that both of these teams are a fucking joke.

you're probably the only one watching who isn't at the stadium. so that makes like 3-5 of you in total..

also, mls should call their pitches 'Soccer Arenas', really americanise it and piss off the euros and educated people.

Actually the stadium is packed to the rafters.
First half just ended, scoreless... and not because of a great defense, but because they both suck ass.
Seattle has 2 of 10 shots on target and Houston has 2 of 4 on target.

IN 45 FUCKING MINUTES!

just got back from the MLS cup finals. Real salt lake beat the LA galaxy on penalty kicks after 6 or 7 shots per team. My team is the seattle sounders, had season tickets all year so all the supporters were really bummed when we lost in the semis but there was still like 46000 ppl that came to the final. RSL was the last possible spot for the playoffs, and if seattle had tied or lost to dallas instead of winning the last week of regular season RSL wouldnt have made it in the playoffs and seattle had already clinched the week earlier lol.

i`m not saying that people don`t actually go to the games themselves, but how many people watch on tv? if i recall correctly, MLS doesn't make any money from whatever pereipheral network its carried on now.

the people that go to MLS games go to be entertained by the atmosphere-- primarily their fellow crazy crowd-mates. i went to a toronto fc game, and must say the atomsphere was pretty wicked, but still a poor-man's version of going to any euro-league/premiership experience. doesn't compare to any of the Ajax games i've been to in the netherlands, or even the University game I went to in Sheffield with my buddies from U of Sheffield. that shit was intense. i'd wager that a little leage game in britain is 1000000x more intense than almost any football/soccer game anywhere else. those people are just so fucking into and like live for it.
