The Inbetween it all
The Inbetween it all
it isnt hard to feel the warmth when the sun shines on your heart you can taste the sweetness of the sky and feel the freedom of flight inhale the fresh feeling of life exhale worry and pain not a thing to lose but a great deal to gain. and if you listen closely, you may hear a perfect melody sung unto you, about you for everyone to enjoy. its everything but not call it the inbetween. the place where we all connect its the light filtering through; the shadows cast. beautifully balanced on the non-existent edge, ill wait until I am you, where nothing ends and it all begins. words dilute my hearts intention

thanks for the kind comments..
i wanted to add some background to this: i was trippin on a small dose of shrooms and i came up with the idea that nothing is perfect alone. but the inbetween- the interaction between all things ( light hitting leaves, the shadows cast; its all one thing theres no edge where one phenomenon stops and the next pics up.) is where perfection lies. theres no other way, no better way for things to exist except the way they are. the idea is hard to put into words thats why i attempted it with the poem.

well done man, i really dig it. there really is no boundary where one thing begins and another ends, only an endless tapestry of being stitched with the illimitable and beautiful compliments of existence. when we impress boundaries upon our perception, we cheat ourselves out of the chance to fully savor life.

yea its an afterthought, i meant words take away the true intention of what im saying.
i.e. words limit how well i can describe the feeling im discussing

that really was a nice piece and conveyed much which resonates and is seemingly familiar to me. it is remniscent of and reminded me of some of my shroom experiences too. i recall while dwelling inbetween, that same sense of feeling something so profound, yet words could not begin to grasp or express it adequatly. and maybe that limitation of words in conveying such apparent depth, is related to preserving the purity of it all. like there is a time where words are mute, or deaf.
still...the last line is kind of like all alone - and yet it fits so brilliantly and I can relate to that much. i would venture a slight...irk/quip...'if' i'd written that(doubtful)....i may have made that one line...'when sun shines in your heart' instead. thats just moi though. well done. ![]()

^ thanks for the input; words are very limited in the way that we all use the same words, but we all have completely different thoughts linked to the words.
somebody round here had a nice quote as their sig something by gibran: For thought is a bird of space, that in a cage of words may indeed unfold its wings but cannot fly. oh also, i played around with the on vs in and i decided that eitherway the same feeling is portrayed, so use either interchangeably; it doesnt remove any meaning.
