On Lies, and Communication
what happens when you remove a humans ability to communicate?
They become sub-human, a lesser being. undeserving of respect; more animalistic than human, misunderstood in all facets of their existence. theres no exchange, this being has become a pawn in the most disgusting game ever played. The being has no autonomy, no ability to control its own reality, no ability to make decisions that are based in fact. what im getting at is that when a person lies to another person they strip away the humanity from the other individual. The person who listens to the lie believes it, (having no reason not to) and in believing, this person is now living a false reality. "Well its not that big of a deal" you mgiht be thinking. Im arguing that its a huge deal. When you put another person in this position you are essentially blinding this person and replacing their view of the world with false images and ideas. its a form of imprisonment. how can this person make decisions when all of their assumptions are based in a false reality? I visualize it something like this: picture your mind and all your concious actions as a body of water, the surface is undisturbed and smooth like glass. when you are told a lie it is kind of like someone dropping a grain of sand into the water. the imediate effect is unoticable, but in time ripples eminating from the place where the sand fell cover the entire surface of the water. These ripples visually represent the effect of the lie. Initially the person is unaffected by being fed false information, but in time the persons conciousness knows nothing but a false reality (ripples crossing more ripples) theres no way to seperate onself from the now false reality because to the person experiencing it is as real as their original reality (smooth glassy surface). The effect of the lie is compounded over and over with each action that is performed after the delivery of the intial lie. From the moment the lie is taken for truth the experience of the individual is flawed, any decision made after the lie has been sprung is made under false pretenses, and the individual is no longer capable of using (correct) human logic. there, the humanity is gone. The individual is now lead to believe whatever they hear or to mistrust everything they once believed. So, by lying to another person, you remove them from real reality. They can no longer communicate with others in a true and functional manner. They are no longer human, you have stolen their autonomy and humanity. You have imprisoned them in a false reality.

Not denying anything you said above but the true danger in lying is you try so hard to convince you end up believing your own bullshit.
