my life goal

do you ever get the chills? or goosebumps? or whatever you want to call that feeling when you get a tingle up your spine? spreading over your skin but also through your body itself?

i know i do. its the best feeling.

light framing the silhouette of a perfect person.
fresh breeze blowing through my hair.
gentle touches that seem to make everything ok.
words that solidify the bond between brothers.

my theory on tingles is that when you see or feel or hear something significant your body becomes so pleased that it releases pleasure chemicals, and you feel and experience the realization on an elevated level that crosses the senses.
for instance, the best part of a song. youre hearing the music but at the point when the tension has reached its peak, you can actually FEEL it. physically. sound that makes you feel pleasure.

listen to your body(!), the moments that give you goosebumps are the ones that we all should remember. you brain is working overtime to keep you from being overwhelmed by all the stimulus in the world. its a filter on your reality. find the events that create the goosebump feeling and focus in on them. i argue that these moments are the moments that are most valuable to ourselves as humans. the moments you can save in your memory and recall when you need to feel the love and wonder that life creates.

we are all connected, everyone has to know this. no action goes without consequence in this life. so i hope that with that in mind everyone can think about the actions they perform on a daily basis. we all need love, and the beautiful part about this need is that in needing love we all depend on eachother. we are the human network. a giant system of exchange. we seek love and we give love.

my goal is to be the one who gives love indiscriminately; ill be the one to love those who are unfamiliar with the concept. ill be the one to love those who dont even love themselves. i want to be the one that saves people from feeling that no one cares about them. ill be the one that loves even when it hurts me physically or emotionally. ive said it before, ' ive got alot of love to give' and i mean this. im spilling over with the stuff.

im not perfect. and im foolish in my age of inexperience. sometimes my pride gets in the way of my goal. i have love for everyone, yet sometimes my actions do not speak it. i want to free my self from my ego so that i can love without fear of being hurt. i dont want to let pride get in the way of the most valuable of my emotions. im learning to roll with the punches (so to speak) because i know not everyone thinks the way that i do. its difficult to be loving to those who dont understand me, but there in lies my task. i want to spread the idea of LOVE to every person, because i know no matter how you say it (love, amor, aime, liebe) everyone needs it.

i hope someone will read this and feel tingles, or maybe even just an itch to go out and spread love. were all human beings, we are all related. we need to realize that we are no more valuable than the man standing nex to, behind, or in front of us. weve all got the same basic composition and we all have the capacity for love.

out of love grows peace.
so, try to think about this as you perform your daily routines or what have you. question your motivation and ask yourself if you can set yourself on an equal plane with those you encounter in life, if we can all act as equals we can all love eachother equally.

love,
Matt
