i kinda just sat down to this quote and started writing:

I hope that i have, in some way, lit the candles held by other people.
I hope that i can continue to spread the flame of love and happiness throughout my life, so that even when the day comes for my wick to reach its end, the flame will live on and perpetuate further lighting of other people's candles. Its like sometime in my life (i dont know exactly when- maybe i was born with my candle already lit) someone all of sudden set me ablaze with the capacity to realize that im fucking lucky!

im in a position as a human being where i can change the way the world around me feels. im in awe at the fact that i exist as a human. I hope that i can extend this sense of awe to others because i feel that life is less fulfilling without it. its beautiful that i can spread love and happiness for infinity, i wont ever run out. We ALL can! i hope that everyone comes to realize this.

there is so much mystery in this world, and it kills me to find people who have fallen into a perspective of mundane routines. break your habits! take new routes through your existence.. cover some ground in your life, dont just continue to trudge along that same beaten path. if your life seems colorless then go hunting for color; i assure that life is happening all around you and that nothing is really what it seems. the deeper you delve into your existence the more you get out of it. open your mind to new things, new perspectives.. feel how refreshing it cant be to have old notions and perspectives ripped away.

everyone wants to feel like theyve got control over the events in their life... realize that you do not, and realize that this is a beautiful idea. let go and see where you find yourself. if you can stand the discomfort of abandoning the views that many of us cling to in daily life, then you will be rewarded by a myriad of new ways of thinking. open your mind! even if its painful at first.. you will find that your life takes on a new richness and a fresh feeling.

dont just accept things for how they are, or rather how they seem to be. when you fall into complacency in life you are in essence stunting your spritual/ emotional/ physical growth. Im not saying that im free from this either, but im working at becoming an avid explorer in my own existence.

we are all explorers in our own lives. has anyone lived your life before you, leaving you a nice set of instructions and tips and letting you know about whats going to happen as you go along? FUCK NO! become an explorer in your own life! wonder, imagine, think, question, doubt, realize. if you dont, wont you be sad later in life knowing that you mindlessly wandered the planet just kinda accepting reality and aeccpting the answers we believe are true today?

if we can all renew our sense of wonder, that sense that we all had as children when the world was new to us and every experience was a first, then i think the world could be a much better place. it irks me to think about how many people ive come into contact with in my life and never shared anything with them. were connected as organisms, connected as sentient mamals, connected spiritually by the msytery of our animate lives. we need to renew this view, this view of the human species. break down the lines that we draw between groups, this persons this, that persons that- NO!! were all people cant it be that simple?!?! why do we constantly seek stratification and social segregation?

again, im not free from this myself, but im consiously examing my actions to break away from the "old notions" that we were all and still are being taught.
we can all love eachother, why do we need to complicate things.

so hopefully ive lit a few more candles. im seeing it around me in the world, ive felt the changes starting to occur, people are becoming aware of themselves as individuals within a larger something.(im not taking credit for this change, ive just felt it, and it has charged me with a drive to spread the feeling.) ive felt the love, palpable love. love so strong that the air is charged by it and everything becomes magic.
spread love and you will find happiness.
if we love one another then we can all live peaceful lives.
and i think thats what everyone really wants.
