Masc
bitter-sweet car-rides,
on my visits back home,
realizing to ride the tides,
even if the water moves me.
the ride comes on slow,
than it slams you out,
everything shimmers in a glow,
there's no room for doubt.
Just ride it out.
I saw the garbage in it all,
but when the light came down,
darkness was nowhere to be found,
I know only the beauty.
Even if this water moves me.
look to the boulder,
to learn to fly,
look to the sky,
to learn to smolder,
Swim in these currents,
when your feeling colder.
Closed eyes,
synchronize,
these visions of mine.
A catch, a hook, and some praise,
A latch, a look, add a room to maze.
The heron, the fish, and the flight.
The dawn, the dish, and the sight.
A day later now and these,
bitter-sweet car-rides,
on my visits back home,
realizing to ride the tides,
even if the water moves me.
even if the water moves me.
