it seems that i'm a well known failure,
say my name and watch them stir.
self destructive and usually sedated,
for this euphoria, my soul was traded.
you push the blame for me wasting away,
the real reason is where i'm forced to stay.

inside this dead end town,
there's no direction but down,
so i turn to drugs for comfort,
they help me forget how to hurt.

living in a place like this can kill a man,
that's why so many people i knew ran.
for reasons unknown i stayed here alone,
every day since i've been wishing i'd flown.
i'm thinking about joining the broken free,
but i just don't have enough trust in me.
