I was just sort of venting in rhyme. I know that it's not much of a poem but might be alright as a song verse?

I'm not going to be a pawn
In your game of chess
I've got no time for games
I'm no maid for your mess
You could do no wrong
Blame it on someone else
And everyone around
is walking on eggshells
I'm not going to hold my tongue
I'm going to tell you like it is
because I hope my friends would speak
if I were acting like a bitch

nice sentiments... nice write... maybe for a song, don't know, it's not too bad though...

Thanks much for the comments. I don't know if it will find it's way into a song but you never know. As soon as we are back on the internet, I plan to put sort of demo for the last song that we were working on, on-line for constructive criticism. Something that I really like how it started to come out but then it just sort of dies at the chorus.
