221,000 miles.... going strong. 10k in the last 3 months since we've had it.

1993 Jeep Cherokee Sport, 4 speed w/OD, straight 6, high output 4.0... and am getting 22-24mpg out of it solidly, never going below 18 and the best I got for several tanks was 26mpg.

I call it the The Holy Roller/ Bon Jovi, cause this thing seems to be running on grace and livin' on a prayer!

But luckily, as far as our road trip... I think we've just crossed the 'half way there' point and are facing a solid east now.

Legacy Outback is what I had, back where there were Impreza AND Legacy models before they redid the nameage...

97', 5 speed w/ the air intake on the hood, actually looked pretty bad for a wagon

Right on man!

Here's mine:

1998, it's just the 4 cylinder but it has a manual transmission and only two doors which is why I bought it. Mine is just a hair under 180K and still running strong, I've heard the I6's will go to 350 no problem. Is yours 4WD?

Yes they do and I was shocked when I found that out. There is a kid in my 4 wheeling club that bought a 2wd drive model because he didn't know any better.
