Good Tuesday to you all.

Hope it was good....so far.

I am volunteering once a week. Bless my boss!!!

It was really good to be back and people were very happy to see me. It's always nice to have a welcome and a smile when you walk in the door after so long.

Nice! I did have a really good day Mikey. It was good for my heart to be back

Rhodos are fun to prune. You can make them leggy, like raising a hem line on the dress (their leaves) or make them more ball like, etc etc.....

I guess if there is a tip....if you want one is to keep an eye out for the back budding, which are the little bumps down the stems and stalks, that will hint where the new stuff will be next or later this year. The rule of thumb I was given was to prune them for a 2-3 year plan. Think of the first years, which you are on, then consider the second layer of leaves that will come out and finally near the centre of the plant, look at your third year stuff and think about what these will look like then.

Don't know if you wanted any advice but there is it. Rhodos need a good feeding as well, don't know what the management programme there is, but they can yellow out pretty quickly at times.

Anyways, LOVE the names and am happy to think about you Mikey-ing away with them sharing your heart and love. Thanks for the mental pic.

Today I'm off to prune a few cedar trees and do a little weeding. Pretty chill day.

Our friend leaves for New Brunswick tonite and We're happy for him. But we'll miss him A LOT.

Have a happy humper.

Metta,
Sage

I think I'm rained out today, but it stopped. I came home already and am thinking I should head back here shortly.

I knew you worked with vegetables. I wasn't sure what you'd done with woody plants and wasn't sure if they were just letting you do your will with them and wasn't sure what that meant either. Sorry if you felt insulted, I didn't mean to imply you had no knowledge. I just thought I'd put it up in case I didn't see you before I left for work and I did add that smilie just in case I was putting my foot in my mouth, like I am now.

That is a new and interesting way to put it

Up and at 'em today. Heading downtown for some work at a nice cool place.

Had some couchsurfers from Poland last night stay, and we had a lot of fun talking with them and could really relate our traveling experience to much of the same things they've experienced. For instance, the way Bosnia left them feeling. And I started to think, maybe my 'problem' was just a pretty normal reaction?

I hope you all have a happy blessed weekend.

CHEERS!!!!

Your Brother,
SageTree

Lol couchsurfers? Never heard of that.. Sounds interesting, though.
People just travel around in search of new couches to crash on? Good way to meet new people, I suppose.

Woke up rather early this morning to finish mowing before the heat got in the 100's
Finished up quick and got a nice wake n bake.....

Couchsurfing.org

You give some info, verify your non-weirdness and hopefully you get a place. Check it out man. It could solve some $$$+travel issues for you.

We've been hosting people like twice a week for a night or two. It's great way to meet people and hear their stories.

GO POLSKA GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a good time. Most people are on their way to Alaska from the States and this road we're on is one of two ways to get on the Alaska highway.
