Woo! New Piece!!!

I worked the first of my last 4 days at this job (put in my two weeks last week), and I have to be there at 7:30 am, and am there till about 5pm (reeaaally sucks) and there is this 't-shirt design and printing' shop just across the street, but I had heard that they had a head shop in there too, (J.Friendly, Towson/Baltimore, Maryland) so I decided to stop in for the first time today after work. Of all the bad things I have heard about the people who work there, either that they are rude or just completly unhelpful, the guy was nice and patient with me looking at pieces and kept up good small talk the whole time. I had absolutly no intention of buying anything, but, me being me, if something catches my eye I ususally just get it because I know with my luck that I will never see it again, so get it when I see it (thats how I got my first pipe, heh).
So, here is my new peice!

It was $50 and change, and the guy threw in a J.Friendly tee shirt and a fucking bright neon orange lighter (I'm guessing standard protocall). It has silver fuming and this really awesome blue bubbling looking design between the red stripes near the mouth opening. The only thing is that it doesnt have a flat spot on the bottom, so it won't rest sitting up, but whatever, its pretty sick otherwise so I don't mind, and the guy was upfront and pointed it out to me.
I was pretty impressed with the selection and variety they had. I stopped by The Other Side just after buying this one, but there wasn't really anything too special there, atleast not compared to the sorts of things J.Friendly had.

thats a pretty nice size bowl and the colors are pretty sweet to.

that seems like a pretty good price to me, for a triple blown that is. So i am not sure if Coka Nostra did not notie this or what. For a single/ double blown peice i would of payed like 15-25 bucks for that respectivly, but if i went down to the "nice" headshop in the area (sound waves, waukesha WI) that pipe would have been marked at 65-80 i am sure. I always just wait till april though, on 4-20 they have a 50% of everything sale. That is one of those places with the 800 dollar "water pipes" though

50 bucks ain't bad. My friend here paid 60 for one exactly like it.

His was blue though, and silver fumed. Eventually after some use, it started to get 2 dark dots then a curved black line under them. Looks like a twisted smiley face. Pretty badass though.

Hmm maybe double then to single? It is the difference between a single thickness of glass, with flat color on it, to a piece with other glass blown into the original lear glass, perhaps it is just double blow but either way go to hell lol n00b, you should know what i meant :P

Anyways thats a sick bowl. I'd probably pay 50 for that, if I liked it in person as well. If it hits well then good for you. New bowls are always fun.

It does look really fucking awesome in person, and the carb and mouth hole are huge, so you can take some big hits off it, but yes The seizureboi, the well hole is a bit big and maybe could use a glass screen, and yes moldyorangepeel, I am aware of the possible thinness of the well and will be very careful.
But JESUSFUCKINGCHRIST I just got a new awesome sick looking piece, don't be so fucking critical! Maybe shops in B-more cost a bit more, and my bf told me that if it had been the owner there, he might have given me a deal, but whatever! it's said and done and I'm going to fucking enjoy my new awesome bowl so FUCK YOU!
