i dont think the butane is a problem because most likely itll burn up before it gets into our lungs. so unless you hold the button down on ur bic right into the bowl before you flick it i wouldnt worry about it

Um...what? Do you have any proof of this? Many doctors and scientists, while not for smoking medical marijuana, are for vaporizers as an alternative delivery method that doesnt involve smoke. The point of vaporizers is that no smoke is created because no plant material is burning - where the tar comes from.

MAPS and CANORML did a study and dry pipes are better for you than bongs because the water absorbs more thc than tar and other nasty stuff

Yup yup.
In chem lab, when you place a nichrome wire into a 3 stage flame, the higher up you go, the hotter the wire gets.
When your right at the base of the Tirrell burner the wire just gets hot, but progressing higher it becomes red hot.
I mean granted, you're in a fire so the base is hot, but the peak of the flame is the hottest.
