Wow, I completely spaced this thread....

I'd still like to see you go after it. Even if you decide to build a Frankenstein like I did.
![]() An easier path to the end results you are looking for could be starting with a completely assembled guitar and sculpting the body to resemble what you've designed. As long as you don't alter the position of the bridge, I don't believe there would be much than some adjustment of the truss needed when it was fully assembled again. Maybe not. A Gibson SG copy would give you the base body design that you could carve away at until you have a very good representation of your design. Then if you like it, you have a template.
