my brother was who you people refer to as lions and christians, and i dunno if he talked about me but im his lil sis. while i took care of him he spoke quite fondly of this board however was paranoid as hell about it.
it really was something looking through his old posts on his computer, and it really brought me some smiles.
my brother was a depressed, lonely man, dying of cancer and outcasted by most of our dick head family. he was damn good man though with a heart of gold, but he was sullen and quite most of the time.
here though he shined.
and it shows.
thank you for providing the enviroment he needed.
it really did my heart good, it feels as though i was the only one who gave a shit about his death.
atleast other people in this world gave a little hoot about him, which i hope you people did, either way you gave him a place to be his wise ass self and open up and have a little fun.

i can not thank you enough for that.
My hearts broken but it made my day to see how you said this sight made him paranoid. I instantly remembered a post of his talking about how paranoid he was, I couldn't tell if it was a joke but I assumed it really wasn't.

I didn't have a personal relationship with the guy but i highly respected him and definitely considered his presence in the forum a blessing.

I dare you to read all of his books.

he was instantly a standout when he joined.. sharp edge & dry wit, cut many to the bone, but yet he was simultaneously lax and entirely forthcoming about his own personal life.

amongst others here, he gave me strength as a bitter youth, grinding through the years of happy to be sad.

we was never that jive, but he was always a down turkey.

Rest In PEACE
He posted in a manner that I could see his apathatic humor. Atleast his exit wasn't a harsh one. He'll live forever as long as he is remembered forever...So no one forget. Massive respect for you and your family, I don't care how lame your parents are all that matters is you love him, even if you have to hide that candle in your closet.

My condolences. I didn't have the opportunity to post with him, but I've seen some of his old posts, and I agree with what has already been said.

Could someone find me his farewell thread? I'd like to have a look at it.

Thanks for posting the links. I can't access the second one though, for some reason.

At least the first one is really a window into what he was experiencing.

Wow, I'm a little late on this but I'd like to add my input.

I joined here in April or May (I don't remember) and remember seeing him post. Now I don't remember much of what he posted, but after seeing his farewell post, he seems like he was a level headed guy and did not deserve what was happening to him. I have always believed that the good die young, and god takes them because he needs them. I have went through several deaths and losses in my life, and it's bringing tears to my eyes. RIP Jordy, you always knew how to make us laugh. RIP Lions & Christians, you have made an impact on Yahooka and we will always remember you.

Thank you for letting us know what happened, and it touches me that he wanted his laptop in the hospital to continue posting. He surely was....a True Yahookan

once again, sorry for the late post. I never come in here.

Seriously, if I wanted to I could just throw the next gay guy I come across right up against a wall and give him an anal assault and he wouldn't complain one bit.

This should be stickied here.

As a manifest that Yahooka has indeed some good in it.

I wish more posters would aspire to be what L&C was.

Then we'd have the oldschool Yahooka we all dream about..

Does anyone know Lions and Christians real name? I would deeply appreciate if someone would share it for rememberance sake, you know?

Checking this thread was quite a jolt as I wasn't expecting this kind of post. I remember only few of L&C's posts being that I joined a little less than a year ago. I had not read his farewell and had no clue about what was going on, so its quite a shock. It's funny because someone can give you so much to think on from a post, from words..but you only get a small picture of them, the person.

I read through some of his posts and he seemed like a very genuine guy, very observant and thoughtful. I respect his perspective on life, and hope that I too with time will adopt such a peaceful aura. We take so much for granted and over look things way too much.

Thanks L&C for all you've brought during your visit here and I hope you enjoy the freedom your soul desired.

Condolences lil sis, thanks for posting..it means a lot.
