i guess i never really thought about the inexperienced person using it. i had worked with two-strokes for at least 18 months before i used a chainsaw so i pretty much had the hang of it by then.

i've also had problems with machines that causes them to vibrate excessively (and painfully), so i suppose it could have gone either way. my point was that when i hold a running chainsaw i am usually quite careful to make sure that i don't loosen my grip so much that i drop it.
