Now I know you are just lieing, confused, or exaggereating heavily when you talk about your experiences on Windows.

I use windows nonstop on XP for years and the ONLY times I've ever got a blue screen is when there was a hardware defect such as bad RAM. You simply dont get a blue screen on XP for software problems.

I've already demonstrated that Macs, with comparable specs, are not over priced when compared to Dell. Take into consideration that Dell's units don't have a built in video camera [included w/all Macs except the mini for obvious reasons] nor a lighted keyboard as with Apple's MacBook Pro and, and one could argue that Macs are a good bargain. Apple's over charging is a myth, especially with the added features in terms of hardware and software so lets put this one to rest, shall we?

Apple always charges $129, always. You can get it for $69 off their website by just saying you are a student. No proof is needed.

I do most of my work from the PC as it's easier to sit at a desk and work rather than on a notebook, but I'll be purchasing a 24" iMac to fill that void and leave the PC to media center duties.

Best of both worlds if you ask me. Both platforms have +'s & -'s so really no need to fight about user preference.

Why all the hostility W and others? I mean they are just computing platforms that are well suited for different applications.

When I have Media Center open full-screen on my tv, it keeps the mouse and I can't drag it over to my computer monitor. Does this annoyance persist in Vista?

Depends on your configuration. You know you can run a second display as a clone of your monitor as well as a secondary display with extended desktop.
This option is available on XP too tho it solely depends on what graphics card you have.

Well I run my tv as a secondary display so we can surf the net and whatever else with Media Center open. This solves the problem of cloning, but when Media Center is maximized (i.e. not windowed) on the tv I can't get the mouse pointer over to the desktop. It doesn't take away from functionality but it's a little annoying to have to restore the Media Center window every time I want to use the desktop and not have to watch tv with the edges of the window. I'm wondering if this happens with Vista as well.

I think it has something to do with DirectX when MCE runs in full screen 'cause DirectX always steals mouse focus on any full screen app.

Did you try pressing the Windows key to get the pointer back instead of restoring the MCE window?
