You'll find that guy that unlocks all of your most inner passions, most of which you probably don't think you even have (especially at this point). Sort of like an awakening.... an awaking of the pheonix of your burning sexual desires which will soar into the heavens (pardon the poetry).

Trust me, you've got that fuse in ya... no guy you've met yet has just had the right tools (both mentally and physically) to light it.

Patience.

^^Holy shit. Cerpin speaks the truth. I was pretty much revolted by the thought of hearing more bullshit lines and fake romanticism just so a guy could attempt to get in my pants.. I honestly didn't even think I was into men anymore. And then I met that guy who I completely connected with on a sexual, emotional, and even spiritual basis. I had never even been able to achieve climax from intercourse until I met him. It truly unlocked my inner nympho. We've been together for 4 and 1/2 years now and we still fuck like monkeys almost daily. I don't think there's anything wrong with you, dear. You just don't want anything meaningless. And once you find someone that really does mean something (I'm not saying that none of your previous partners meant nothing to you, simply that you haven't met that certain one who blows them all away)- you will find your sex drive back into the swing of things more so than ever.

I have to be in the right frame of mind to be able to get in the mood for sex. I think probably everyone is like that, and when we go through stages in our lives where that mood is less frequent, we don't feel like riding the hobby horse as much. I think the only problem with this is what we are told we SHOULD expect from ourselves, as if not being horny is some kind of personality defect if you are under the age of 70.

With something so personal, I would try to give less value to what things SHOULD be, and just live the way you like and be what you're being right now.

Funny, at the time of this thread I was knee deep in my last, very intense relationship. Since then we've broken up, I've been single and sleeping around the last 2 years, and now I'm ready to hold off on sex until it's meaningful again.

Full circle poignantly marked by Yahooka? I is not surprised!
