They are such an awesome breed. Many of the qualities I've read about have been true with her. For example, I read that they are naturally housebroken because they have too much pride to shit where they live. She has never once gone in the house, or even the garage for that matter. She goes as far away from the house as possible. Another thing is that they rarely bark, which is cool because dogs that bark incessantly get on my nerves. I didn't even know what her bark sounded like until I'd had her for about 2 months and a guy was pacing our fence line (a meter reader). But anytime we introduce someone to her, she greets them with happiness and enthusiasm because she trusts anyone we trust. She's so smart too. I've taught her all kinds of cool tricks already. She can be a bit neurotic, and I suspect someone was bad to her in the past- either her previous owners or someone she came across in her travels (she wandered around before camping out at the entrance to a bank, where I found her). She also gets a little TOO excited to see us when we come home from work and tries to jump on us, but we've almost completely eliminated that behavior by ignoring her when she does it. Overall though, she's such a good girl and I'm so glad she found her way into our family.

Coming from someone that met him IRL too.

Bears really had that vibe of like a solid person you were meeting. Like not just another random schmuck. Like "this is a person" type of person, if you know what I'm saying?? I hope he does something. I liked that bearsy guy. He was cool.
