it's funny because his diet is pretty much all fresh fruits, veggies and timothy hay. the pellets aren't so good for house/pet rabbits because those pellets were designed for "food rabbits" to gain weight alot faster so they could be eaten/sold/slaughtered/whatever sooner.

i thought those pellets also contained a host of vitamins and minerals not found in most veggies and fruits?

there are fruits/veg with protein.. leafy greens, cereals/grains, legumes/beans and shit, brussels sprouts, and some root veggies all are pretty solid sources of protein.
