I disagree. Courting is always going to be an element, and not everybody is confident or outgoing (in sober mode) enough to do it even if they wish to.

Cool opinion. But as someone who doesn't care about people who come off as unapproachable, I find that people who strike up the first conversation with me, end up in a higher list then people I talked to to either A) Be social B) Get to know someone attractive. So I guess for the shy guy, there's other means of it rather then playing the game of guys on offense girls on defense, it's called real people. I guess that's a trait I've picked up by being part of the gay community, gay's don't look at things like that.
