Chomsky?

How do you feel about the man?

I would like to post an interview of his, but i need to know how most of you feel about him.

I know for a fact i will get an incoherent shitstorm of excuses and justifications of why he is wrong(maybe even from a country mate who i am willing to "debate" in private)...but i'm gonna post it either way just as soon as i know how most of you feel about him...

PS: This interview was banned from western media outlets and it deals with the west's refusal to report on its own crimes.

I'm not too familiar with a lot of his stuff, however, he seems at the very least a well educated man. I'm curious to see the interview JL.

Ok im working on getting all the youtube links together...

Do note that the reporter (not sure of his name) is a Princeton graduate yet American media have called him a product of the "Milosevic propaganda machine"...

...AND...

that the interview is in standard Chomsky style...says 1 word in the time it takes a normal person to say 10...

...AND...

it's fucking long.

I'd be happier if the NATO had bombed Serbia back into the stone age, but yeah if I put my personal bias aside, he's probably right.

I was assigned to read him in college. I have to say, he opened my mind.

He's not as sharp as he once was though. Penn & Teller made him look bad on Bullshit.

My favorite thinker/writer. period.

His essay 'Containing the Threat of Democracy' is the best piece of writing I have ever read.

If you want to understand how power works in this country, read anything by him.
