Ok, just some new pics of my little guy! No problems, he's doing great.

I'm glad you got him all taken care of, you sweet little lizard mommy! If he seems to be having trouble shedding all his skin in the future, make a trip to the pet store and pick up these two things, they will work wonders: 1.) A bag of moss to mist down and stuff into his warm hide. That way he can literally just bask in the wetness and it will help immensely during the shedding process. 2.) I don't remember the exact name of the product, but it's basically a lizard lube for stubborn skin that refuses to shed. This will only be necessary if all the other methods (your warm q-tip, some wet moss in his warm hide) don't work and you fear he may lose a toe.
Edit: I also wanted to tell you that crickets have been known to bite, so make sure you're not leaving too many in there at one time and watch for any more little bloody spots. Although it probably was from having a dried up piece of skin, you still don't want the crickets to team up on the little guy.

Ahhhhhhh! Thank you AL! Yeah, usually there is only 3 in there at a time, and he gobbles them down pretty fast...BUT, it makes sense that maybe one of the little buggers may have bit his tail.... We just upgraded his tank...it's huge now (20 gallon i think). I put reptile carpet back in there because the sand was a pain in the ass, and the carpet is cleaner and so on. I've also added another log *so he has two wood log hiding places and the tree now* and moss. I've been misting his cage and tree daily and I keep the moss moist at all times. His last shed went very well. Just two of his little toes needed a little help. But with the q-tip and warm water, it came right off. Thank you girl!
