iTunes 7+

I recently d/l the latest itunes as my new ipod requires it.

Problem is the sound is distorted and I cant seem to find a fix anywhere. Any help would be much appreciated.

Yeah me fuckin too but the ipod I won requires it...are there any fuckin alternatives or 3rd party programs that can manage ipods? This is fucking me off.

sell the ipod and get something that uses an SD/MMC card.

it could be that the new Itunes is recognizing non drm managed files and distorting them.

itunes doesn't even exist on my computer because winamp manages it without the attitude.

why do people like winamp so much? it's so disorganized and crappy. the buttons are fucking tiny and unlabeled, and the skins are always such shit.

yah cuz you know the itunes having no non mac related skins, its total lack of useful plugins, being a resource hog, slow as fuck,useless make it better than a pile of shit let alone winamp.

i myself prefer itunes.

ive organized all my music with it after they were all transformed to 4 letter file names, i got all the album artwork to work nice and smoothly, and ive never had problems with it.

i also find it extremely easy to use it, i find it very visually easy.

i used winamp a long time ago, and hated it. it was ugly and confusing. maybe new is better, but why switch. dont fix something thats not broken.

iTunes pisses me off on a daily basis, it somehow sets itself as me default media player all the time and it does me fucking head in, i wouldnt mind if it just played the tunes without being a slow and annoying piece of shit. no i dont want a playlist i dont want bastard album art just play the fucking music

the media library is just as organized as itunes if not more so... the button problem depends on the skins, and good skins can be found...

being, winamp is just as easy to use and offers more control than itunes could ever...

i dunno what control i really need.

i listen to music, possibly change the eq, change info about the files, look at the album art, skip tracks. i dunno what else there is.

o yeah, and i love playlists, and putting random on with the ipod.

You have gone edit > preferences > advanced and unclicked Use Iturnes as the default media player for audio files, right?

yep i reset it back to windows media every time and it still sets itself as the default media player every time

You could even download the itunes (non official) skin for winamp if you love itunes so much.
