Uh.. yeah.... the ironic thing about the song is that she comes up with all these examples in her verses and describes them as being ironic, when none of them (save for maybe one) are actually examples of irony. That's what's ironic about this song.
And yeah, 'it's like' is used when making a simile you're right... she also has a few metaphors in there too... but in either case there's no reason you can't use a simile or a metaphor in describing irony.. Explain yourself.

No, not really. There are people that actually care about it and both sides can make a strong argument. But Ian of the opinion that it just makes her look like an idiot. Mainly because it could have been completely by accident and she thought it really was irony.

It was done completely by accident, she really did think all that shit she said was irony - that's why the song truly is IRONIC!
Does NO ONE see the brilliance!? The Universe, though sheer GENIUS created a woman that would write a song called Ironic, and through her own folly, create a song that is genuinely ironic in itself.

It would take you more than 1000 days to learn what parts you can't eat?
Learning a speciality in medicine takes 3 years. Learning how to cook a fish doesn't. They probably also learn hundreds of ways to make it in that time. And howto do cool shit with the knife.
