So I finally got the chance to test that model I came up with and showed a big long derivation for a few pages ago...

well I thought it might do good, but it did really good!:

turm: Well I would definitely recommend learning the e-shop thing, since having to do deal with humans face to face I would think would be lessened, plus more income!

chemists: The model is so good that the greatest deviation from the actual data is only 0.3% .. .helllls yeah

That's 0.3% for a particular peak wavelength

Applying the model across the entire visible spectrum, maximum error is 0.5%

Hard to over fit too much when you're only fitting on a single parameter!

What's really dope is that I fit my parameter (the parameter being what I labeled in my model as absorptivity per concentration of pigment) across the visible spectrum (so you have a unique parameter value for each wavelength) and plotted it and it's almost the exact same shape as the absorption data I gathered with a spectrometer.

Yet the data I fit with was just intensity data at 6 different concentrations.

So now I can do this same procedure for each other dye source and in the end I'll have a full set of data describing the intrinsic effectiveness for each source/extraction method per wavelength!

Constraining it to 'this universe', I bounce back and forth between the idea of there being a fundamental quanta which would constrain the universe to having a technically countable number of states (although computationally impossible since the number of configurations would be unimaginably large)

or if there is true continuity in the universe.

If there is true continuity, I think that the search for a self-contained set of rules (even the more far out ones like string theory) that describe all things will be an ultimately fruitless effort.. in the case of true continuity I imagine an infinite amount of complexity in what the real 'laws of physics' are

You think this is why humans strive to make things “convenient?”

Everyone wants to get rich so they have everything they ever wanted. People want contraptions that make life easier because on another plain.. they didn’t have to exert physical energy to get the things they wanted.

This is why people are addicts and lazy and just can’t deal with life of the physical world.

Lol I didn’t understand you big words.hahaha

People's want for things to be convenient might be a sort of higher abstraction of the rule that physical systems behave in a manner which always minimizes the amount of action in the system.

But I don't think it's that simple at all.

You have some cultures, personalities, etc, which would look at this desire for convenience and leisure as something pitiful and detrimental to continued survival.

I find myself often wanting to believe that it's equally important to live in a way that maintains the ability for other life as I see it to continue to exist once I'm dead, as it is to spend time simply doing 'whatever I want' with the time I still have.

But it's like.. why is it important that life continues to exist as I see it?

Why is it important to live how I want, aside from how I feel about it?

No matter what I just do what... I feel

and I have no fakkin idea why we're alive or wtf this is all about

My personality is a core of absolute confusion surrounded by a crusty residue of rationality that forms at the interface between awareness and oblivion.

I agree.

Some people believe it greater to have material items. The more you have the better human being you are. Same with money.
I think they think that it brings them to a higher level.
Apparently once people make a certain amount of money they see other people as less than human.
Maybe that’s not true but the state of society speaks for itself.

I work around these people. The richest in the world and they aren’t happy people at all... they seem to be insatiable.

These people are mistaken.
