no. i don't think i've ever gotten a ticket over $100. of course, i'm pretty sure the cops will be less lenient with residents than with tourists, but i think that's true pretty much anywhere you go. like if a cop sees that you're from the area you're driving in but going 21 mph over the limit, they're a lot more likely to give you a reckless charge whereas if you're a tourist they'll probably record it as 19 over and give you a regular ticket.
