I thought it was worth the experience to know, and hell, the price was right.
I'm glad I didn't find out at a greater price tag! that's for sure.

It's just too weird and not how I like to travel at all.

We spent $2k to get to Europe and another $800 during the month we traveled around there..... with $7k I wouldn't come home for a year!

Yeah 7k is more than enough to travel for an entire year, I want to travel the whole of turkey.

Maybe you just need a week at the beach?

Word. Cruises are for old people.

I should say eh?!!!

Turkey was on my list of 'go back to' without a doubt.
But Instanbul was more than we could see in a week.....
Heck... the core historical district and bazaar is more than we could see in a week!

Waiting to get a Canadian citizenship/passport before I get into the Eastern parts of that country and surrounding area.

The source of the 125 is a senile old Indian man. Also, the oldest recorded Human was Jeanne Calment who lived for 122 years, 164 days. I don't imagine record keeping in rural India in the 1890's was very thorough. I would bet she is no older then 115.

I made 2 serious grammatical errors in one sentence. How the fuck did that happen?

Wrong tense and then instead of than?

I should go get a CT to check for brain tumours.

Wouldn't it suck to find out you were adopted, and your real birthname was Stinky Kuntsler?

As someone who has done both, cruises have their niche. I too would prefer to just fly out somewhere, but i can see their appeal to those that have hectic lives and just want to slow down without having to think a lot for a short period of time. Cruising really isn't confinement, there's plenty to do onboard and/or just chill til you reach port. They usually stay a day or more, not 4 hours. You're also not confined to do touristy things, you can just leave the ship, rent a moped/bike and wander on your own. Plus you can usually spend some time on the ship figuring out what you want to do once you've docked.

Not the best vacations, but never the worst either.

Plus there's all sorts of sex orgy cruises if you are really into cruising.
