Mr. Emery made a good point when asked if his prosecution was politically motivated. There are indeed hundreds of seed vendors in Canada who have sent seeds to the US but have not been supporting political causes. These vendors have not been prosecuted, Marc Emery has.

First of all, no one's forcing them to smoke weed, they can eat it. or vaporize it. I wish Alan Young had said something about that, because the only proven health effects come from the act of inhaling smoke, not only cannabis smoke, but smoke in general.

Also, she said they were "making" people use this "addictive" drug, but really, they're not forcing anyone. It's the sole fact that they're giving patients the option to use what they prefer. You wouldn't force people to only use acetometaphin just because Valium and Lortabs are addictive.
